Objective: Improving Management of Natural Resources

Overview

USAID supports the improvement of natural resource management and water and sanitation. Programs aim to protect forest biodiversity with a focus on orangutan habitat, and to improve the management of forests and watersheds. Ensuring the availability of safe water involves protecting water sources as well as strengthening the capacity of water and sanitation services.
